Any other time of the day, Pepper will race up the stairs if anyone goes even remotely near them. She LOVES upstairs. But when it’s time for me to leave in the morning, it’s a different story. She knows it means that she has to go in the bathroom (where she can’t get into trouble while we’re gone).
This morning, no matter how many times I said “come” or her favorite words “want a bone?” or “treats!”, she just stared at me like this. She’s too smart for her own good.
"Here dad I give you licks. Now you don’t have to wash your face!"
My ASU Sun Devils are playing their PAC 12 championship game against Stanford right now. And currently we’re losing 28-7. If you’re not a Stanford fan, please root for ASU because they need all the help they can get right now and I will be very sad if we lose.

A Christmas tree and a sleepy pup make for a cozy Friday night.
My favorite part of the day is when Pepper decides to stop being Pepper the Crazy Woman and turns into Pepper the Cuddlebug.
Pepper recently discovered that it’s really fun to stare and bark at the person in the car next to us when we’re stuck in traffic.
She may be smiling (like she always is), but Pepper was reeeeally desperate to be let outside.
This is obviously the best ornament on our tree
Pepper is not a fan of bath time
